Your Role: Purpose & Impact
As our Wholesale Account Manager, you’ll be the trusted point of contact for wholesale clients. Your focus will be on nurturing long-term relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring every customer experience aligns with the high standards of the CosMic Plants brand.
With the support of a dedicated Sales Administrator managing order processing, you will be able to focus on strategic account management, client development, and revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Develop a strong understanding of CosMic Plants' product lines and the unique appeal of Phalaenopsis orchids
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with wholesale clients, delivering top-tier service and support
- Present, promote, and sell products via phone, email, and in-person visits
- Collaborate with internal departments—production, logistics, fulfillment, marketing—to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment
- Analyze account data using the ERP system to make informed decisions and optimize performance
- Track and report key metrics; prepare accurate sales forecasts and customer reports
- Stay updated on product availability and inventory
- Respond promptly to client issues, resolving concerns and escalating when needed to protect long-term relationships
- Follow up on inbound leads and proactively identify new opportunities
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on near-overdue invoices
What You Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related role (experience in the floral, agriculture, or consumer goods industry is an asset)
- Post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field
- Proven ability to build trust-based relationships with B2B clients
- Confidence in negotiating pricing and applying effective sales strategies
- Familiarity with wholesale operations and buyer behavior
- Experience using CRM or ERP systems for account management
- Skilled in interpreting sales data and generating accurate forecasts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation ability
- Self-starter with a drive to exceed goals and grow accounts
- Ability to adapt to evolving client needs, inventory levels, and market conditions
Working Conditions
- Office-based role with a regular schedule of Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
- Occasional travel for client visits and industry events
- Flexibility may be required at peak times to meet client needs
